Dear Mr. Resendes,
Thank you for looking at our Hyundai and giving us the okay to drive home. We dropped it at the repair shop that had replaced the transmission when we got home tonight.
I'm not sure exactly what you did, but we did not smell any burning transmission fluid on the way home.
It's kind of rough being out of town at a doctor's appointment and having car trouble in a strange place.
